Graham wrote this some time ago, while going through a difficult time, to the young lady who is now his wife. He wrote it for her because she stood beside him during this tough learning experience.

One of the many reasons we have stayed beside Graham during all of the tough times is his talents, abilities and our view of what his future can become. The following poem was written by Graham and sent to Kristy during one of those tough times. With his permission this is posted on the family website.

Stars up above; "You and I,"
Sitting under a clear dark sky.

Two hearts together beating as one,
No words spoken as moon gives to sun.

You in my arms feels so grand,
As dark turns to light in Gods great land.

I look in your eyes and feel your love,
No one watching, but God above.

Your head on my chest and a loving embrace,
Holding and caring at our own pace.

Just you with me is all I ask from above,
My heart for you is full of love.

I worry and care about you so much in life,
And look forward to when I can make you my wife.

But as for now, as we are apart,
Always know I keep you deep in my heart.

When you are afraid of being alone,
Close your eyes, look to your heart, and I will come home.

Yes, "You and I" are meant to be,
God's smiling on us through eternity.

He will keep us safe no matter how far apart,
Knowing the love we have deep in our hearts.

And always remember, and I'll say it is so,
I'll love you forever! No matter where I go.
